Notes: The Rams' line should be better this year for a couple of reasons.
First off, all-world left tackle Orlando Pace is actually participating in
camp. Second, giant-sized rookie Claude Terrell is expected to step in at
left guard, while Blaine Saipaia takes over for Adam Timmerman at the other
guard position -- which means veteran stalwarts Adam Timmerman and Tom
Nutten will provide bench depth. And Andy McCollum and Grant Williams will
be back manning center and right tackle. Draft pick Alex Barron will be
brought along slowly, says Rams coach Mike Martz, initially backing up at
LT. Barron is eventually expected to take over on the right side.
