ST LOUIS (Ticker) -- The St. Louis Rams on Thursday agreed to terms with free agent strong safety Todd Johnson on a four-year contract.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
A 2003 fourth-round pick, Johnson spent his first four seasons with Chicago. Last season, Johnson started six games for the NFC champions, recording 34 tackles.
Johnson, 28, has recorded 140 tackles in 42 career games.
In St. Louis, Johnson joins a team that ranked eighth against the pass last season.
